When you climbed to the top,
They say it's time you fall.

Hello, my name is Kho Zhiquan. I like to catch creepy crawlies. When the rain comes, I go around jumping in puddles.

I may fall, but I'll pull myself up. Just wait and see.

My Sec 1 life
Thursday, October 22, 2009, 5:55 PM

Well, a year has passed and I will be going to Sec 2 next year. Secondary life sure is very different from Primary school life. There were more work, more chances to speak out and even projects.
Many things have happened since the beginning of the year. I met new friends and learned new things and adapted to the school's environment.Onesuch was sleeping at 11p.m rushing through revisions and worksheets instead of just lying on the bed doing nothing.
There may be some up and downs but things always turn out alright if you just look on the bright side. As i reflect back on myself, I realised that I had become more independent and organised. In what ways? I called my friends when I need help and made a timetable so that I could have some self-control.
I had trouble adjusting my lifestyle but i finally did. My school grades have improved by alot and my secret is: Play less Work more. Well, I'm not saying that I don't even play but at least take a walk or exercise once in a while after you have completed your revision. Just set goals for yourself and try to hit that target. Well, don't set unrealistic goals such as getting an A1 when you are maintaining at C5. Just tell yourself to improve by one or two grades everytime you take a test. You will eventually get an A1.
Nest year is Sec 2 and I will have to work harder. I mean, who wants to get into 3Q??
